Welsh-speaking Theatre-maker
Mary
Davies
Theatre-maker, facilitator and researcher
I believe that theatre is a powerful tool for communicating and celebrating different stories in bold and powerful ways. I love to see new theatrical forms being developed and feeling challenged by theatre. I personally also enjoy theatre that surprises you, whether it's hearing a familiar tale but in an unfamiliar or uncanny way, or watching a story that has sudden and sharp twists. I'm passionate about theatre being a space for everyone and I'd summarise my own creative practice as seeking to create work that uplifts, challenges, and ultimately creates hope and joy.
